Hong Kong's Skyscrapers - 2 Dec 2013
Ferry terminal at Lian Hua Shan, next to Panyu to Hong Kong-China Ferry Terminal at Kowloon side. Taking ferry was a breeze, there's less crowd with comfy seats, no need to stop for immigration clearance and plenty of space for luggages. Took about 2 hrs 15 mins.
We stayed at Royal Plaza Hotel, Kowloon - very convenient with MTR & a shopping mall adjacent to it. Walking out of hotel, we passed by Ladies' Market at Mongkok.
Life in Kowloon.......
We took the MTR to cross over to Hong Kong's Causeway Bay - the Christmas decor at Times Square.
Must-have dessert at Hui Lau Shan
Lost in time on top a double-decker bus!
We missed taking the historic tram in Hong Kong cos we're rushing to see the laser lights show at Tsimshatsui. We took a ferry from Wanchai, HK to Tsimshatsui, Kowloon. Boys paused to enjoy the lively street music by 3 physically disabled, but very talented young men.
Hong Kong's skyscrapers from Victoria Harbour's ferry terminal.
Kowloon skyline from Hong Kong's Wanchai ferry terminal.
Christmas decor and lights are one of few things everyone can't seem to get enough of....
The historic Ocean Terminal lights up for Christmas. Have a blast with our dear friend, Cherry - Thank You for spending a whole evening with all of us!!
The Symphony of Lights illuminating the city's skyline at the Avenue of Stars, Victoria Harbour
'Chasing Stars' on the Avenue of Stars. The few names the boys could relate to were only Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan!!
